Om forks are tuned to the sacred syllable of "OM". This frequency is also known as the Heart Chakra, Chi, Life Force, and many other names. It is in tune with the rotation of the Earth around the Sun, and is the keynote in India for the Sitar and Tambura. The standard OM frequnecy is 136.1 Hz. Available in Standard, Weighted, Low Om, Middle Om, or Higher Heart. Each tuning fork/set comes with a beautiful velvet carrying pouch.
How do Chakras work? Each chakra or energy center has a measurable pattern of electromagnetic activity to which it is naturally "tuned" when it is flowing in balance, or aligned. By placing a vibrating tuning fork's handle on a chakra, it initiates sound frequencies that stimulate the client's body to create the frequencies it needs to bring itself into alignment.
