Since ancient times, dating back to the era of Buddha Shakyamuni (2,500 years ago) singing bowls have been used to enhance meditative states and aid in the attainment of enlightenment. It is said that Tibetan Singing Bowls are forged with a prayer in each hammer blow.
These Tibetan Singing Bowls are the authentic antique bowls that were hand made many years ago, using an ancient combination of several metals. The bowls are no longer being produced, and are very difficult to obtain. Each bowl has been hand selected for clarity of sound, ease of playing, and each comes with a mallet.
>>> Update 4/9/21 - We are receiving new inventory now, and will be adding more bowls to the site.
We also sourced some very high quality 7-Metal Practitioner Tingshas with remarkable sound. Stay tuned!
A pedastal bowl is a good choice if you are a beginner, as they are very easy to play. The pedastal isolates your hand from the bottom of the bowl, allowing it to produce a very full sound with no interference. What results is a beautiful, uninterrupted tone.
