In Chinese 5-Element Theory, a healthy body has adequate energy flow throughout the 12 Meridians and the 2 Extra Vessels. When energy gets disrupted, the meridian flow is altered, creating a "too much" and "not enough" distribution within the affected meridians. This Meridian Set includes 14 standard forks - one for each Major Meridian, plus 2 Extra Meridians - Governing Vessel & Central Vessel. The tuning forks can be used to balance the energy flow (Qi) in each of the corresponding meridians. You can also work with them and the associated organ system through reflex points on the back and feet.
The Meridian Clock chart can also be used for referencing active times for each Meridian. As an example, if you are waking at 3:00 AM every morning, your Lung Meridian is stressed and needing attention. Strengthening the Metal Element and sedating the Fire Element would be one way of treating the issues.
All of our high quality tuning forks are Made in the USA. Each fork is triple tuned for accuracy of +/- .25% Hz. A small rubber activator and protective velvet pouch is included.
